He can hit a receiver who beats their man in stride, or add more air and put the ball outside the numbers when the defender matches his target. While he shows many impressive attributes, his acumen for the deep ball jumps off the tape more than anything.

Unfazed Under Pressure

Another attribute of Suratt’s game that jumped out to me is his ability to stay calm in the face of pressure. Even with defenders barreling down, he maintains his composure and will deliver the ball even when he's about to take a hit. Jett Suratt has extremely advanced film when it comes to high school quarterbacks. For a guy whose numbers are excellent, they don’t even tell the full story. He possesses traits that will transfer seamlessly to the college game. While he is listed as a pro style quarterback, he has the tools to not only fit a pro style system, but flourish in your classic air raid system. While there are definitely areas to improve upon when it comes to maintaining consistent mechanics, I have no doubt that with the right coaching and mindset, Suratt will be a force to reckon with at the collegiate level.
